Becoming pre-approved for internship funding can help you jump start your career.
You can target the companies you want to work for and be able to offer a potential employer the added bonus of not only getting to hire you for their team, but also receiving a wage-subsidy when they do.
As an intern, you are not “placed” in a job, as is the case with some internship programs. Once pre-approved for funding, you are expected to find your own job in the environmental sector.
Funding is available each year on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed until a suitable Employer Host is found. Pre-approval can help you stand out from other candidates in your field and give your job search a boost.
