Announcing First Annual Video Contest Winners!
Eco-conscious high school students from across Canada were challenged to submit a video outlining an environmental issue in their community. In June 2010, four schools were awarded $2,000 to help implement eco-friendly initiatives and green their school.

Friends of the Gully from Torbay, NL

Holy Trinity High School students documented the ecological trials and tribulations of rapid population growth in the town of Torbay.

Students at Lester B. Pearson Catholic High School created EcoEchoes, a video that discusses the importance of using green bins to reduce waste.

Holy Cross High School students documented their efforts to decrease the school’s electrical consumption.

Team ECO Vision from Lacombe, AB

The team ECO Vision, from Lacombe Composite High School, showcased efforts to reduce greenhouse gases by raising money to install solar panels on the school roof.
