The Application Process
The accreditation process is an ongoing cycle, which begins with the rigorous assessment and review of an Environmental Program.
Once the program undergoes this initial review and becomes accredited, there are ongoing, annual reporting requirements throughout the 5-year term of accreditation.
Through the fifth and final year of an accreditation term, the program will undergo a re-accreditation review to ensure the ongoing conformance of the program with the national standard.
If successful, the program's accreditation will be renewed for another 5-year term and the maintenance process begins anew.
