Contaminates Remediation Training Organization of Canada (CRTOC)

The Contaminates Remediation Training Organization of Canada (CRTOC) is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit organization representing a consortium of Aboriginal organizations, Aboriginal businesses, sector councils, and private sector businesses across Canada.
About our Training Fund
Administered by ECO Canada (Environmental Careers Organization) with supporting funds from the Aboriginal Skills and Employment Partnership Program, the objective of the Caring for the Land Project is to promote the employment of Aboriginal residents of Canada in the contamination remediation industry. The CRTOC can fund up to 50% of program training costs and “on the job” training that will lead to employment in the contaminates remediation industry. To learn more about the Caring for the Land Project, please contact 403-233-0748.
"The CRTOC will encourage employers and the Aboriginal community to work together to develop a competent contaminates sites workforce for the future. The skills and knowledge acquired by the Aboriginal participants will be transferable to other sectors of the economy when the contaminated sites activities have been completed. It is a win-win situation for all partners"
- Grant Trump, President and Chief Executive Officer, ECO Canada
