Get Involved

Be a part of a national community that is working together to shape Canada’s environment industry.

Through ECO Canada there are many ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteer for special events such as networking luncheons or to lead environmental practitioners in your area as a Chapter Leader

  • Become a member of the Site Visit Evaluation Team – advisors to the Canadian Environmental Accreditation Commission (CEAC) who accredit environmental programs at academic institutions based on National Occupational Standards for environmental employment

  • Complete a survey that helps inform key stakeholders and decision makers on the current and future directions of Canada’s environment industry

  • Become a National Steering Committee member for a project that is specific to your field of specialty

  • Participate in a focus group that allows you to provide insight into the industry based upon your areas of expertise

All of ECO Canada’s projects rely on working closely with those involved in this dynamic and emerging sector. Our goal is to engage and create dialogue between industry and academic communities, and governments at all levels. We have a lot to share with one another and we invite you to help us.
