If, for any reason the ECO Action! Video Contest is incapable of running as planned, including reasons of unauthorized intervention, technical failures, insufficient funding, an insufficient number of eligible participants, or any other causes which interfere with the proper conduct of the ECO Action! Video contest, ECO Canada reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the ECO Action! Video Contest. ECO Canada is not responsible for any technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, software, servers, access providers, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer, related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials that may occur during registration or entry submission.
ECO Canada and the contest sponsor(s) reserve the right to provide substitutions or cash alternatives, of an equivalent value for the advertised prizes distributed to selected winning entrants. All prizes must be accepted as awarded by the discretion of ECO Canada and the contest sponsor(s). The decisions of ECO Canada and the sponsor partner(s) are final and binding in all matters as they relate to the ECO Action! Video Contest, including without limitation, eligibility and/or disqualification of entries.
ECO Canada and the contest sponsor(s) reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the ECO Action! Video Contest should a virus, bug, or other cause beyond the reasonable control of ECO Canada and the contest sponsor(s) or its agents corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest by ECO Canada. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, ECO Canada reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
