BECOME A GREEN HIGH SCHOOL │ RECOGNITION │ CRITERIA │ PARTICIPATE │ RESOURCES
Criteria
To qualify as a GREEN High School, each team must complete an environmentally-focused project.
The project will:

Address one of three categories:
-
Enhancing the environment
-
Communicating about the environment
-
Demonstrating the sustainable use of resources
-
Have a career component
-
Meet a minimum requirement of 30 project hours
-
Have an impact on the larger school body or community
Each team will need to:

Register with ECO Canada
-
Submit project documentation
-
Submit an evaluation form
Register your school as soon as possible to participate in the program. To register, send an email to career.awareness@eco.ca with the teacher sponsor’s contact information.
Project documentation and evaluation forms are due May 14, 2012 and can also be submitted to career.awareness@eco.ca.

ECO Canada’s Action Plan template is now available for download!
Each team is encouraged (but not required) to complete an Action Plan to guide the implementation and completion of their environmental project.
