ECO Canada and its President and CEO Kevin Nilsen are proud to stage a reception and networking event centered on Green Building for Sustainable Communities and Economies.

Whether it’s new builds or retrofits, industrial or residential, green building continues to drive innovations in energy, materials and costs savings, while building healthier cities and more sustainable communities.

Join Jim Lord, Founding Principal of Ecovert Sustainability Consultants, and Rosemary Martin, Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer at First Capital Realty as they discuss the need to embrace forward-thinking ideas, and established standards and certifications, to make green building the de facto practice in development and urban planning.

This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and socialize with environmental professionals from Greater Toronto Area companies and organizations while learning more about the shift from traditional building to building that encourages and creates sustainable structures and communities.

Note: Appetizers will be served. A cash bar is also available.
