Job Timeframe and Location
The position is for a minimum of 12 months, starting April, 2017. Between January and April, the candidate will benefit from hands on, job-specific mentorship and training. There is flexiblilty in the training schedule.
Extension beyond the initial 12 month contract is anticipated. Work will be performed from the office at 969 Wellington Street West, Ottawa. Out-of Office site visits will be performed as necessary.
Hours and Remuneration
Work hours are typically between 9am to 5pm although some work outside of normal hours is expected for project maintenance. The position is for 35 hours per week. The annual salary will be $40,000. Three weeks of paid vacation are available following a 3 month probation period.
The employer will provide mentorship, work station, necessary software, tools and equipment necessary for project maintenance and safety equipment. Travel, telephone, and necessary accommodations will be eligible for reimbursement.
