Part 1 of this series provides in depth knowledge of the ISO 14001:2015 requirements from the implementers’ perspective. The discussions will focus on the changes in the structure of the revised standard, the additional requirements, their interpretation and how to incorporate the new requirements in your existing environmental management system.

- Learn about how to audit the new requirements
- Understand the audit criteria and specific evidences with respect to “documented information” and “implementation”
- Learn what to look for while monitoring and auditing the EMS transition process.

Yogendra has over 20 years of experience delivering strategic advice, consulting and training in the fields of the environment, occupational health and safety, and corporate social responsibility. He has provided expertise for multi-national organizations in over 16 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America.
As Vice-president, Professional Services at ECO Canada, Yogendra oversees the development of professional services, education, and training programs to support Canada’s rapidly growing environmental workforce.
Yogendra has delivered over 300 training courses including ISO 14001 and has over 800 person days of auditing experience on various management system standards including ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, SA 8000 and various Codes of Conducts.
Yogendra is a Certified Environmental Professional (EP) and a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP). He holds a Ph.D. in Pollution Prevention and is involved as a Board member and volunteer, in a number of professional and industry associations.
