Coaching is an important aspect of leadership that contributes to individual and organizational success.

Discussions will be held about trust, emotional intelligence, and feedback, as well as other key skills and strategies to help you become a more effective leader, and make every conversation count, especially while many of us continue to work remotely. Throughout the sessions, you will learn about and practice how to:

  • Build the foundation for psychological safety, shared understanding, and shared identity for your team
  • Improve core communication skills of listening, silence, confirmation, and questions

  • Mid-senior level environmental professionals who have moved into a leadership role within their organization and are looking to drive change, increase engagement and advance performance within their teams.
  • Mid-senior level environmental professionals who are looking to build their confidence, refine their coaching skills, address their leadership roadblocks and/or develop a clear vision on how to be a successful leader.

Session 2

Monday, March 29, 11:00 – 1:00 PM MST

  • Topics covered include emotional intelligence, empathy, and time to practice.

What’s the deadline to enroll?

Registration will be open until Friday, March 10 or until the max capacity of the session is reached. Once you pay for enrollment, you will be e-mailed a registration form for the course.

What is the course format?

This course will be held in live, virtual sessions. The sessions will be interactive and meaningful, with group discussions, breakout activities, and more. Registration will also include personalized feedback, coaching, and group work.

How will I be recognized once I’ve completed the course?

You will receive a formal Certificate of Completion once you have completed all the required course topics. Select workshops also count towards annual professional development credits required for the EP Certificate.

What technology do I need to participate?

For this course, you will need access to a computer with webcam and microphone capabilities, an updated Google Chrome browser with browser settings allowing access to a microphone, webcam, pop-ups, and VPN, Firewall, and Anti-Virus security settings that allow access to downloading desktop applications and webcam and microphone access.

How long does this course take?

There will be two (2), two (2) hour sessions. The course will run from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm MST on March 15 and 29.

Do members receive a discount on registration?
