Job Description

»The opportunity to work with our new Integrated Environmental Team which combines Forestry and
Biology to approach complex problems with in some of the most diverse eco systems in BC.
»Project management exposure on a variety of unique and interesting projects on Vancouver Island
And in the Great Bear Rainforest, including grizzly bear monitoring, bird surveys, fish habitat
assessments, salmon snorkel surveys, oil spill response, water quality monitoring, research trials and
First Nation partnerships (to name a few).

»Registered with the College of Applied Biology as an RPBio or RBTech
»Experience working in applied biology for at least 2 years, preferably in consulting.
»Physically fit and interested in mentoring in the field year round
»A positive team player who is passionate about working in the outdoors and possesses strong
Communication skills and leader ship qualities
»Comfortable liaising with clients and being involved in business development
»Experience managing projects
»Enthusiastic about traveling by 4x4 pickup, helicopter, boat, ATV/UTV and floatplane
