For over a decade, ECO Canada has worked closely with the Auditing Association of Canada (AAC) on our Environmental Professional (EP) Auditor certification and the Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board (CECAB), the certification body for our Environmental Professional (EP) certification program.

As a valued partner, we encourage our members to attend the 2015 Conference, Workshops and Annual General Meeting.

About the 2015 Auditing Association of Canada Conference

The theme of this year’s conference is: Advancing the Professional Environmental Auditing Mandates and Roles – Application of Risk Management Tools.

The conference will explore the subthemes of the importance of auditing in a sustainable society and managing risk in the industry.

This conference is ideal for HSE auditors as well as company managers and supervisors who are responsible for managing HSE risks within their organizations and ensuring compliance to legislation.

Conference sessions will include the importance of auditing in a sustainable society where speakers will explore sustainable initiatives in the oil & gas and food sectors as well as social licensing. Other topics include managing risks in in the audit industry as well as expansion of audit mandates and associated risks.

Workshops will provide attendees with guidelines for auditing, auditor exam preparation, a registrar’s perspective on ISO 14001:2015 as well as ways to maximize benefits of auditing and developing effective corrective actions.

Conference attendees and their guests are also invited to attend an evening of socializing and fun in a traditional Maritime way with a lobster dinner and reception at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
