180,000 Jobs Must Be Filled By Qualified Practitioners by 2028

Our recent labour market research findings indicate that there is a significant gap in employment supply that must be filled in the next eight to ten years. Between baby boomers retiring and the demand for new environmental roles the need for qualified workers is growing rapidly.

Approximately 180,000 jobs must be filled by qualified workers.

This presents an excellent opportunity for emerging professionals to excel within the environmental sector and for employers to consider as they plan their future business strategy. The challenge is that these new professionals face numerous barriers that can prevent them from gaining meaningful employment. Lack of essential soft skill knowledge, demographic factors or career preparedness are major factors in their ability to get hired and advance into mid level roles.

Our employment programs were created to help address this challenge and stimulate skill development, business growth and workforce advancement.
